Located inside of the Shell gas station and convenience store just north of where Hwy 95A meets Hwy 29 north of the paper mill in Cantonment, this little cafe might surprise you with its offerings. I've only ever had the pulled pork sandwiches and mac-n-cheese, but that's because those are easy grub while I'm at work. The pulled pork sandwiches are only $3.99 plus tax, and they are heavy and huge. The meat is actually smoked, although not long enough...which means that you might get an inclusion of unrendered fat. But, still...in this era of high prices, these things are a bargain. You can get them already sauced or dry with sauce on the side. I prefer the latter, because the flavor of the meat is smothered by too much sauce. They also offer half and full racks of ribs, although I've never had any. I'm philosophically indisposed to buying prepared ribs, due to the inanity of paying for bones that I can't actually eat. But I'd wager that the ribs are delicious. I suspect that the mac-n-cheese is Stouffer's or some other frozen food-service variety, but it's good enough. Because mac-n-cheese... You might be able to read the menu board in the picture that I uploaded. They offer breakfast, burgers, baked potatoes, and a slew of other options. Don't despair about being hangry in Cantonment, because there are options in the area. The folks behind the counter are friendly and the place is sufficiently clean. Easy access from Hwy 29 or from the back entrance on Hwy 95A just east (or northeast) of Mustangs North. It's also easy to leave the place going either direction on either highway...which is certainly a plus.

The food is usually great the fish is amazing... While this is a great place to eat at, it seems as though "some" perhaps regulars are given loads and others not as much? It seems as though at times a couple staff members aren't too enthusiastic about their jobs (bothered/perhaps wishing the day was over? I'm not sure) However the food is pretty decent the fish is awesome with the grits… 12.99 dinner plate comes with a dessert and a drink as well (not all customers are told this by the cashier checking them out and the board it's wrote on isn't very legible)

If you're up at 5am and have the cravings for biscuits and gravy with fried link sausage then this is the place to be, and if you like people watching this is definitely where you want to be. Few things in life are as enjoyable as watching us early morning Cantonment folks get geared up for the day...

If they have all the food ready before 11 a.m., they won't start serving until 11, no matter how long the line is. However, sometimes they don't even have the food ready by 10 mins after. Employees dragging in at 11:05.... IF YOU ARE GOING TO SET A START TIME IN STONE.... THEN ABIDE BY IT! I only get 30 mins for lunch!
